Arturo Clement elected as president of SalmonChile

On Tuesday, December 5, during the last meeting of the Board of Directors of the Chilean Salmon Industry Association (SalmonChile), industry representatives approved the election of Arturo Clement as president of the association, reports Mundo Acuicola.

Arturo Clement succeeds Felipe Sandoval, who leaves office at the end of the year.

Clement will lead SalmonChile for the next two years, has been working in the aquaculture industry for nearly 30 years. The civil has as general manager of Multiexport Foods for 22 years. He also held the same position in his salmon subsidiary.

In 2010 Clement founded the electronic transaction platform SalmonEx, which produces a price index for the aquaculture industry.
