Fossøy has spent four years with Aquabyte.

Aquaculture tech startup Aquabyte has announced the departure of Anders Fossøy, its Commercial Director and General Manager, effective July 31, 2024.

The company cited strategic disagreements about its future direction as the reason for his resignation.

In a press release issued late Tuesday afternoon, Aquabyte lauded Fossøy’s significant contributions over his four-year tenure, highlighting his pivotal role in establishing the company as a market leader and building a successful commercial and operational organization.

Fossøy, who has reported to President and Director of Operations Steve Tucker since 2023, will be succeeded in his commercial duties by Thomas Rønningen, the current Sales and Marketing Manager at Aquabyte.

Aquabyte was founded in 2017 by Bryton Shang.
