ISA suspicion at NRS sea site

Listed salmon farmer Norway Royal Salmon (NRS) hit by potential loss.

The NRS’s farming operations in Region North has suspicion of the fish disease ISA at the Ørnfjordbotn site in Troms. The site contains 0.3 million fish with an average weight of 1.3 kilograms, according to a press release from NRS.

NRS is awaiting confirmation of the analyzes from the analysis company for a final ascertainment of ISA.

At a final confirmation of ISA, the fish will be extracted immediately and an estimated cost of EUR 1.2 million will be charged to the EBIT of the third quarter of 2018.
