Johan Fredrik Gjesdal joins business unit.
In a press release, aquaculture equipment giant AKVA group writes that Johan Fredrik Gjesdal has been appointed as COO of its Land Based business unit.
Johan Fredrik Gjesdal comes from the position as Vice President Strategy & Business Development in AKVA group, a position he held the last 3.5 years. He will replace Morten Nielsen, who is entering a new role as General Manager in AKVA group Land Based Denmark to focus on business development and strengthening of the land-based project organisation in Denmark.
“I’m very pleased to announce that Johan Fredrik Gjesdal will join the team as our new COO Land Based. Johan Fredrik is a great team player and I’m really happy to find and promote internal talents in AKVA group. I am confident that he will be an excellent addition to the AKVA management team,” said CEO Knut Nesse.
Johan Fredrik Gjesdal started his new job on Tuesday.
