Fish farming group tough on itself.
The Alsaker Group, which is the group company of Alsaker Fjordbruk, had an EBIT of EUR 52.1 million in 2020. With a turnover of EUR 190 million, this gives an operating margin of 27.4 per-cent.
In 2020, the group produced almost 40,000 tonnes of salmon, compared with 38,000 tonnes the year before.
“Production-wise, 2020 has been an average-year for the group, with progress in several parts of production. Both the production volume and the harvest volume were up by 2019,” Alsaker wrote in a press release.
Alsaker is a Norwegian vertically integrated fish farming group with salmon production. In 2020, the group had four smolt facilities, 24 food fish licences, a harvest plant and an aquaculture centre.
