Leading land-based salmon farming company reveals changes in its executive leadership.
Atlantic Sapphire managing director Johan Andreassen has announced his decision to step down.
The company has initiated the process of searching for a new CEO.
Andreassen will continue to serve as interim CEO during the transition period until a permanent replacement is selected, the company announced in statement on Monday morning.
In his remarks, Andreassen explained, “The company is moving from a prolonged entrepreneurial phase to a more established industrial phase. It is now the right time for me to pass on the CEO role to someone capable of steering this transition.
“I will actively participate in identifying and assisting my successor. Atlantic Sapphire holds significant importance to me, being its founder, and having held various key positions such as Chairman and CEO. I will remain committed to supporting the Company in achieving its goals.”
Kenneth J. Andersen, Chairman of Atlantic Sapphire ASA, expressed gratitude for Andreassen’s substantial contributions, saying, “We appreciate Johan’s instrumental role in shaping the Company’s growth. We respect Johan’s changing priorities and welcome his ongoing involvement with the Company in a different capacity. With Johan’s accomplished team in place, we are confident in the Company’s future development and expansion.”
