Nutreco, the parent company of of aquaculture feed giant Skretting, has announced the appointment of Noel Kim as Managing Director for its Asia operations, effective January 2024.
Kim’s previous roles include VP Asia Pacific of Evonik’s Animal Nutrition business line and a 15-year tenure at Cargill, where he held various leadership positions in the US and Asia.
His academic background includes a degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
In his new role, Kim will oversee both Trouw Nutrition’s animal nutrition and Skretting’s aquaculture businesses in Asia, based out of Thailand. He will report to Therese Log Bergjord, CEO of Skretting, and maintain a close connection with David Blakemore, CEO of Trouw Nutrition.
Expressing enthusiasm for Kim’s appointment, the Skretting CEO cited his extensive strategic management expertise and deep understanding of the Asian market.
