Little worked for Fastnet Fish for more than twenty years.
Grimsby-based frozen seafood supplier Fastnet Fish has paid tribute to well-known seafood trader Laurie Little, who died last week.
“Our hearts go out to his family during this difficult time. Laurie was an integral part of the Fastnet family for nearly two decades, and his impact extended far beyond our organization,” wrote the company on Facebook on Monday.
Fastnet acts as a buying operation for others in the sector, storing, delivering and dealing with fish for a range of clients.
“Laurie was more than just a colleague; he was a kind-hearted, generous, and humorous individual whose absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His stories will continue to be shared, ensuring that his memory lives on in our hearts and minds,” wrote the company.
“Despite facing health challenges in recent years, Little’s resilience and tenacity never wavered. He approached every battle with courage and strength, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew him…Rest peacefully, Laurie. You will be dearly missed, but your legacy will endure as an integral part of our story.”
