Mowi employees Purchase Over 141,000 Shares in discounted share program.
Mowi has announced that 1,012 employees have collectively purchased 141,426 shares through its discounted employee share program, representing a total transaction value of approximately NOK 29 million ($2.64 million/€2.54 million).
The program, available to permanent employees in its Norwegian, Scottish, and Canadian subsidiaries, was based on the average share price of NOK 205.16 on 25 November 2024. Employees were offered three options for purchasing shares at a discount:
- Option 1: 36 shares for approximately NOK 7,500 ($682.50/€652.50), with a taxable discount of NOK 1,500.
- Option 2: 73 shares for approximately NOK 15,000 ($1,365/€1,305), with a taxable discount of NOK 3,000.
- Option 3: 146 shares for approximately NOK 30,000 ($2,730/€2,610), with a taxable discount of NOK 6,000.
To fulfill its obligations, Mowi acquired 141,426 shares on the market at an average price of NOK 205.16 per share. These shares will now be distributed to participating employees under the program’s terms.
