Aquabyte has announced the appointment of Hilde Lerøy as Senior Sales Manager, effective December 1.
Lerøy, who brings 14 years of experience in the aquaculture sector, will focus on strengthening the company’s partnerships with fish farmers in sea-based and land-based production.
Lerøy holds a degree in aquaculture biology from the University of Bergen and previously worked as a Technical Service Specialist at Cargill Aqua Nutrition. Her career has spanned various aspects of the aquaculture industry, providing her with expertise in salmon and trout farming.
Commenting on her new role, Lerøy said, “The experience I have gained over 14 years has provided me with a solid understanding of the fundamental biology of farming salmon and trout. I am excited to join Aquabyte at this pivotal time and contribute to the company’s mission of improving fish welfare, sustainability, and profitability.”
