Remora Robotics has appointed Eline Stokstad Fjell as its new Chief Financial Officer, marking a significant step in the company’s growth strategy within Norway’s aquaculture sector.
Fjell, a seasoned professional with extensive commercial experience, previously worked as a growth investor at Verdane, where she specialized in scaling tech companies. Her expertise in identifying and prioritizing key success factors during periods of rapid expansion aligns with Remora Robotics’ ambitions.
“My strength is focusing on the key success factors. In scaling up, it often feels like there are 100,000 things to address at once. I excel at identifying the three most important ones and executing them,” said Fjell.
Fjell highlighted her enthusiasm for contributing to sustainable solutions in the aquaculture industry, emphasizing the significance of enhancing one of the world’s largest protein sources. “Remora has great growth potential. The fish farming industry is facing challenges, and Remora is directly addressing and mitigating several of them. Contributing to a more sustainable Norwegian export product is highly meaningful,” she added.
Svein Erik Gregersen, CEO of Remora Robotics, welcomed Fjell’s appointment, describing her as an ideal fit for the company. “Eline is a perfect match for Remora. She shares our ambitions and brings the experience and skills necessary to help us take the next big step. Onboarding Eline is ideal for the phase we’re in, with scaling up as our first priority,” he said.
