SalMar Successfully Issues NOK 4.35 Billion in Green Bonds
SalMar ASA has announced the successful issuance of NOK 4.35 billion ($387 million) in green bonds, following its initial stock exchange message on 21 January 2025. The bonds are split into two tranches:
- NOK 3.25 billion ($290 million) in a 5-year senior unsecured green bond with a floating rate of 3-month NIBOR + 1.15% per annum.
- NOK 1.1 billion ($98 million) in a 7-year senior unsecured green bond with a floating rate of 3-month NIBOR + 1.35% per annum.
The bonds, rated BBB+/Stable by Nordic Credit Rating, are set to settle on 30 January 2025. SalMar intends to apply for the bonds to be listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
Danske Bank, DNB Markets, Nordea, and SEB acted as Global Coordinators and Joint Lead Managers for the issuance, with Rabobank participating as a Joint Lead Manager.
