Lødingen Fisk selects Pure Salmon Technology for new smolt facility.
Lødingen Fisk has selected Pure Salmon Technology as the supplier for its new smolt facility in Vestbygda, Nordland, citing the company’s technological expertise and previous project deliveries.
Following multiple site visits to Pure Salmon Technology’s reference projects, Lødingen Fisk evaluated various system options, including flow-through, recirculation, and reuse technologies, before deciding on a partner.

The new facility will have a production volume of 15,000 m³ and include sections for fry, smolt, and post-smolt, alongside support systems to ensure efficient operations. The Vestbygda site, where Lødingen Fisk already has an existing production operation, was chosen due to available infrastructure, including power, water, and land for future expansion.
Technology selection and long-term growth
Lødingen Fisk considered multiple system types before selecting Pure Salmon Technology.

Second facility for ownership group
This will be the second facility that Pure Salmon Technology delivers for the ownership group behind Lødingen Fisk.
