Kent Kongsdal Rasmussen to step down as CEO of Pure Salmon Technology.
Kent Kongsdal Rasmussen will step down as CEO of Pure Salmon Technology at the end of May after six years in the role, the company announced on Monday.
During his tenure, Rasmussen oversaw the company’s expansion, including the acquisitions of HyFlow and Billund Aquaculture. The company has grown its presence with offices in Norway, Denmark, Abu Dhabi, and Australia, increasing its workforce from 50 to 80 employees in Norway and Denmark, alongside additional staff in its international operations.
“It has been an incredible journey, and I feel privileged to have been part of Pure Salmon and 8F Asset Management,” Rasmussen said. “With significant projects in Norway, an international project pipeline, and a solid aftermarket business, the company is well-positioned for future success.”
Stephane Farouze, Chairman and Founder of 8F Asset Management and Pure Salmon, credited Rasmussen with helping shape the company’s development. “His vision and dedication have been instrumental in shaping the company’s trajectory. Under his leadership, Pure Salmon Technology has achieved significant progress, and we remain committed to our ambitious plans,” he said.
The company has appointed Luke Kellgren-Parker, currently Chief Operating Officer, as Rasmussen’s successor.
“I was originally recruited by Kent and have worked closely with him over the years,” said Kellgren-Parker. “I’m excited to take on the role as CEO, and Kent and I will work closely together in the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.”
Pure Salmon Technology said it remains committed to expanding its recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) business, with a focus on repeat customers and new projects based on its existing system design.
