Maritech to provide smart technology for Mathias Bjørge’s new salmon processing facility.
Maritech has been selected as the technology provider for Mathias Bjørge’s new state-of-the-art salmon processing facility, marking the largest implementation in Maritech’s history.
The integrated digital solution will connect the entire value chain, from raw material purchasing to customer sales, utilizing Maritech Cloud, Purchase & Sales, Maritech Control & Insight, and Maritech Packing.
“This is the biggest project we have ever undertaken, and we are incredibly proud to help build a salmon processing facility that will set new industry standards,” said Astrid Bolstad Dale, VP Services at Maritech.
The system will incorporate real-time data processing, AI-driven optimization, and full automation to improve efficiency, precision, and sustainability. Equipment from multiple suppliers will be fully integrated to enable automated fish distribution and sorting based on data insights.
“Mathias Bjørge has been instrumental in driving innovation, continuously seeking the most efficient and intelligent solutions. Together, we have designed a fully integrated, data-driven production system that optimizes efficiency, precision, and sustainability,” said André Lillebakk, Business Development Director at Maritech.
The partnership builds on a long-standing collaboration between the two companies.
“Maritech’s ability to collaborate, think creatively, and develop tailored solutions has been instrumental in our decision to transition to the cloud and implement Control & Insight in our new facility,” said Henning Bjørge, Co-owner of Mathias Bjørge Seafood.
