Nordic Aquafarms, owner of land-based salmon farmer Fredrikstad Seafood, is fast approaching realisation of the construction plans in Belfast, Maine.
Here, just off the border with Canada on the U.S. east coast, the Norwegian company is setting up a land-based fish farm capable of producing 33,000 tonnes of salmon per annum.
As shown by the video, the complex will be backed up by renewable energy, solar panels, and have its own integrated public viewing centre.
