Nordic Aquafarms has unveiled its new design concept and it’s pretty huge…
A new video from Nordic Aquafarms shows the land-based aquaculture plant from the inside. The same design will be used both in the Norwegian and US (Maine) facilities.
According to the company, they have been working for over a year with a new “gamechanging” concept.
The video shows, among other tanks of 8,000 cubic meters each. One is for the smolt division while the other two are for the grow out sections to harvest size.

The plan committee in Fredrikstad municipality gave their approval last week to stage two for the company’s facility at Øra in Fredrikstad, Norway.
