500,000 salmon move to next phase at the Miami Bluehouse, Florida.
The land-based salmon farmers Atlantic Sapphire celebrated another milestone on social media on Thursday.
CEO Johan Andreassen tweeted a photo with the team in the phase in which, on a traditional salmon farm, fish would be transferred to the sea.
We did it! First commercial fish transfer from fresh to saline water completed in the Miami Bluehouse. The pristine saline water from the Flordian Aquifer is crystal clear and free of man made contaminants. Incredible team effort. Bluehouse, Green Planet! pic.twitter.com/HHwQOQBDCY

The facility is currently still under development and the company say it remains on course to deliver its first harvest in the third quarter of 2020.
