AKVA group lands RAS contract with Cooke in Chile

EUR 10 million agreement signed.

AKVA group chilly owned subsidiary AKVA group Chile has entered into a sales and support agreement with Canadian salmon farmer Cooke Aquaculture for the supply of a RAS facility in Chile.

The contract value is EUR 10.3 million, AKVA group wrote in a statement after the Oslo stock exchange’s closing on Friday night.

Delivery is scheduled to take place during the first quarter of 2020 and the fourth quarter of 2021.

On Monday, SalmonBusiness reported that another AKVA subsidiary, AKVA Land Based, is to supply and invest in a Chinese 8,000 tonne RAS project with Nordic Aqua Partners.
