Capital will be raised through the “contribution, assignment, or transfer of the social rights of subsidiary Pesquera Los Fiordos”.
As reported in La Tercera, in a letter sent to Chile’s Financial Market Commission (CMF), the salmon farmer Aquachile writes that on Monday, the board agreed on the approval of a capital increase.
The funds will be raised through the issuance of shares or by the contribution, assignment, or transfer of the social rights of subsidiary Pesquera Los Fiordos, it wrote.
The company is seeking USD 245 million in capital.
