In a press release, Aquachile writes its Verlasso Salmon brand was on the dinner plates of the biggest sporting event of the year, as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers.
While halftime performances by Jennifer Lopez and Shakira – watched by more than one hundred million spectators – took up most of the headlines, Aquachile explained that its salmon was served up famed Chef Allen Susser and served to John Offerdahl, a former NFL player with the Miami Dolphins.
“Salmon is recognized as one of the healthiest proteins for consumption, particularly for high-performance athletes. The preference of elite athletes for salmon consumption is recognized, and this weekend Super Bowl was the turn of the AquaChile Verlasso salmon,” it wrote.
