Arnarlax changes company name to Icelandic Salmon, former SalMar CEO elected as board member

New name and board memmber for SalMar-owned salmon farmer.

In a statement on the Norwegian OTC list (owned and operated by Oslo Stock Exchange), Iceland’s largest salmon farmer Arnarlax writes that it will change the company’s name to Icelandic Salmon.

In an extraordinary general meeting, the company resolved to also elect Leif Inge Nordhammer as a new board member. Salmon veteran Nordhammer is the former President/CEO at SalMar, the company of which is a major shareholder in Arnarlax/Icelandic Salmon.

The board of directors also granted an authorisation to increase the company’s share capital by up to NOK 53,228,080 by the issuance of up to 5,322,808 new shares.
