Hugo Wahnish is resigning.

In a statement on the London Stock Exchange, aquaculture genetics and health company Benchmark writes that Hugo Wahnish has informed the board of his intention to resign as a non-executive director from the 9th of February.

Wahnish joined Benchmark in November 2017. Previous to the role, he was previously Chief Commercial Officer Animal Health at the drug giant Merck.

Benchmark wrote that he “played a significant role in Benchmark’s transformative period”.

“On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Hugo for his contribution to Benchmark, in particular, his support during our restructuring to focus on our core aquaculture areas. We wish him every success in his future endeavours,” said Benchmark chairman Peter George.
