Chris Mitchell to lead Bio Marine’s entry into UK and Irish aquaculture markets.
Bio Marine, a Norwegian company specializing in net pen management technologies, has appointed Chris Mitchell to introduce its products to the UK and Irish aquaculture markets.
Mitchell, an aquaculture specialist with experience in aquatic animal health, breeding, and innovation, will represent Bio Marine’s submerged lighting, water-uplift, and net pen skirt technologies, which are designed to help mitigate environmental challenges in marine aquaculture, he announced on LinkedIn.
He will work with Bio Marine on a part-time basis, alongside his role as a freelance business developer assisting companies seeking entry into the UK and Irish aquaculture sectors.
Mitchell has previously held roles at WellFish Diagnostics, PHARMAQ (part of Zoetis), and Landcatch Natural Selection, where he was responsible for sales, brand development, and business growth in the aquaculture industry.
