Blumar Seafoods EBITDA up by 280 percent

One of Chile’s largest industrial salmon farmers, Blumar Seafoods, has had an incredible first half in 2017, according to Chilean news site Aqua.cl.

The good results are explained by the high salmon prices, according to the company, writes Aqua.cl.

“The adjustment in the supply of Atlantic salmon, as a consequence of the algal bloom, occurred at the beginning of the year. That explains a lot of the increase,” writes the company in its report, according to Aqua.cl.
