Norwegian salmon farmer, Bremnes Seashore, has agreed a five-year supply deal with France’s largest seafood grocer, Pomona Terre d’Azur, reports newspaper, Sunnhordland.

The deal was penned at the Brussels Expo now underway. The deal implies deliveries by Bremnes Seashore via its partners to the French Presidential Palace.

Bremnes chief exec, Olav Svendsen, said he was naturally pleased with the deal.

“This means Bremnes Seashore will deliver tonnes of salmon to the French market every year,” a press release said.

“This agreement has come because we have built brick-by-brick for three years together with a local company that knows the Norwegian seafood sector extremely well, and in addition has a unique network of wholesalers and restaurants.”
