Canadian authorities recall salmon over listeria

Dom Reserve’s Atlantic Salmon Strips recalled.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency posted a recall on DOM International Limited’s DOM RESERVE brand Atlantic Salmon Strips (Hot Smoked) Cracked Black Pepper from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

Authorities warned that consumers should not consume the recalled 150 g with the code 002451 and UPC 7 72945 11150 8.

The recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) test results who are is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. The CFIA wrote that it is also verifying that industry is removing the recalled product from the marketplace.
