Cargill selects aquaculture bosses to head up new nutrition units

Pilar Cruz will head up Cargill’s feed business as Adriano Marcon moves to Cargill Animal Nutrition.

Reuters reports that the feed giant Cargill has launched a new business unit focused on animal and human health products as part of a reorganisation of its animal nutrition business.

The company has made a few reshuffles which means that its animal nutrition and health group will now consist of three units: Cargill Animal Nutrition, combining its existing feed, nutrition and pre-mix businesses; Cargill Aqua Nutrition; and the new Cargill Health Technologies.

Adriano Marcon, president and group leader for Cargill’s aquaculture business globally, will now be in charge of Cargill Animal Nutrition.

Pilar Cruz, president of its compound feed business, will lead Cargill Aqua Nutrition.
