Chilean salmon producer raises $23 million in share issue

Salmones Camanchaca, the only Chilean salmon company on the Oslo Stock Exchange, strengthens its balance sheet.

A statement on Thursday morning states that the company has issued a share issue of 8,193,660 new shares with a gross proceeds of $23 million.

At the end of November, the farmer announced its plans to print up to 8.5 million new shares. At the end of the subscription period, the company thus received a leaner catch than one had hoped for.

Salmones Camanchaca’s share price was last traded at NOK 35. Over the past year, the company’s market value has fallen by 25.5 per cent.
