Cold-chain service provider to bring fresh Icelandic salmon to China

Jiuye SCM supports Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com, which launched 7Fresh stores last year.

In a press release, Shanghai’s cold-chain service provider Jiuye Supply Chain Management (Jiuye SCM) writes that is it bringing fresh Icelandic salmon to Chinese market via its one-stop fresh supply chain.

On December 13th, the official Icelandic Fresh Produce store was launched on 7Fresh, JD.com’s online supermarket, combining online and offline retail.

Jiuye SCM release voided optimism surrounding the recent “phase one” trade deal between the U.S. and China.

The e-commerce giant JD.com – which has 301.8 million active users on it platform – launched its 7Fresh futuristic store chain without cash registers in 2018 delivering a “truly premium offline food shopping experience” to the People’s Republic.

Online retail accounts for less than 20 percent of the nation’s overall consumption, according to the Ministry of Commerce.

Jiuye Supply Chain Management, founded in 2014, is a one-stop cold-chain fresh service platform that has operations in North America, Europe, Africa and Oceania to help meet China’s growing consumer demand.
