Up to 807 sites at one of Australia’s most popular retailers to sell Tasmanian produced fish.
The Tasmanian salmon farmer Huon Aquaculture posted on Facebook that eight of its value-added lines are arriving in Coles from today including two Ocean Trout lines (hot smoked and cold smoked) which they say are a first in Australian retail for the company.
Coles is one of Australia’s biggest grocery retailers.
Huon Aquaculture GM of Sales and Marketing Callan Paske wrote their supply agreement with Coles will give consumers unprecedented access to Huon Ocean Trout.
“We have invested significant time and energy into securing a supply agreement with Coles which will see Huon Ocean Trout championed in the retail space across the nation.”
