H & N Group – which supplies wild and farmed salmon to customers amongst other species in the United States – not attending as coronavirus is too much risk.

H & N Group’s Executive Vice President Christine Ngo writes in a press release that “after much thought and strong caution” it has made the decision to withdraw from exhibiting at 2020 Seafood Expo North America (Boston Seafood Show).

“We did not make this decision lightly but feel the current conditions with COVID-19 present too much risk. The health and safety of our team, partners and colleagues are our top priority,” wrote the West and East Coast-based supplier which turns over around USD 427 million a year.

On Friday, organisers of the show Diversified Communications urged attendees to follow a “no-contact, no-handshake policy” at the major seafood show.
