Delivery driver accused of embezzling £50,000 from Scottish fish merchant

Martin Deas Cook in the dock accused of swiping cash from employer G&A Spink as well as several chip shops.

A delivery driver for a fish firm near Dundee, Scotland, is on trial accused of embezzling tens of thousands of pounds from his employers, reports Evening Telegraph.

It is alleged that he committed the offence of embezzling GBP 49,632 while working for the Arbroath-based fish merchants G&A Spink (which sells hot smoked salmon amongst other species) between June 2015 and October 2016.

Martin Deas Cook, 52, of Guthrie Crescent, Friockheim, Scotland, denied the charge. The date of the case has been continued until March for an accountancy report to be prepared.
