Delta Pacific Seafoods is recalling this salmon product over listeria scare

Recall issued for salmon nuggets.

In a statement, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a warning that Delta Pacific Seafoods is recalling Salmon Village brand Hot Smoked Atlantic Salmon Nuggets from the marketplace due to possible a Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

The products are maple-flavoured Salmon Village-brand Hot Smoked Atlantic Salmon Nuggets sold in 150-gram packages (universal product code number 8 28684 00108 9).

The nuggets were sold in Alberta, B.C., Manitoba and Saskatchewan, Canada, the agency said.

There have been no reported illnesses caused by the product, it added.
