Ocean Quality CEO quits

Export company looking for new boss.

“Espen Engevik has resigned as CEO of Ocean Quality for private reasons. We have started the process of finding a new CEO”.

This is what Bjarte Salomonsen, chairman of multi-million-pound exporter Ocean Quality, wrote in an email to SalmonBusinesss on Monday.

“In the meantime, Hans Petter Berge will be acting CEO, and all operations will resume as normal,” Solomonsen added.

Ocean Quality was started in Bergen, Norway, in 2010. The company is owned by Grieg Seafood and Bremnes Seashore and had a turnover of EUR 535 million in 2018.
