Firda Seafood Group has announced the appointment of Stian André Tolleshaug as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Tolleshaug, who previously served as Finance Manager at Tide Buss, takes over the role at the start of 2025.
A native of Austrheim municipality with roots in Gulen, Tolleshaug brings local expertise to his new position. Firda Seafood Group welcomed him to their Byrknesøy headquarters with a tour, including a visit to the roof of the Martin E. Birknes building, where the company has recently installed a solar panel system.
The solar installation, designed to produce renewable energy for the company, faced challenges following an unusually heavy snowfall last weekend. Staff undertook significant efforts to clear the snow and ensure the system’s functionality.
“We are pleased to have Stian on board and proud to showcase the strides we’re making in sustainability with our solar energy initiative,” a spokesperson for the company said.
In addition to the appointment, Firda Seafood Group noted the upcoming arrival of their vessel, Firda Eir, which is set to dock on the West Coast next week. The company is optimistic about continued favorable weather conditions to facilitate smooth operations.
