Salmon exchange expands team with Exchange Broker and Business Developer.

Fish Pool reports that it is very pleased with the hiring, and CEO Søren Martens looks forward to strengthening the team.

“Fish Pool passed last year’s trading volume in July and we have had one of the strongest first half in Fish Pool’s history this year. Since the Oslo Stock Exchange, our main owner was acquired by the European stock exchange Euronext in 2019, integration with their system will also be central to the future. With Arturo and Jørgen on the team, we will strengthen our expertise in customer contact with existing customers and strategic work towards new players and new owners,” wrote Fish Pool in a press release.

Bergenseren Jørgen Stensrud is employed as Exchange Broker and will work with customer contact at the trading table in combination with sales work in Norway and Europe. “He also has experience from Grieg Shipbrokers, he will bring a breath of fresh air to the trading table and education in finance in Hungary will be well served,” wrote the salmon exchange.

Arturo Goodwin will take on the role of Business Developer. He will be Martens’ right-hand man working on compliance, projects and working towards integration in Euronext. Goodwin speaks fluent French and Spanish, was born in Paris and educated at NHH in the field of natural resources and the environment. He comes from the consultancy Inventura and has a good understanding of strategy and improvement projects,” the company added.

Both are looking forward to embarking on new tasks and, not least, to get to know the industry.

Simen Thorbeck is currently head of Trading and Ceselia Høyvik Rokne as Head of Sales.
