Aasebø will begin his role on 1 August and will be based at Fluctus’ head office in Austevoll, Western Norway.
Austevoll-based equipment supplier Fluctus has announced the hiring of Åsmund Aasebø as the company’s new Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Assurance (HSE/QA) manager. Aasebø, who holds multiple degrees in IT and has a background in pedagogy, previously worked at Fjord Maritime, overseeing IT and QHSE.
Harald Lien, General Manager at Fluctus, stated that the company’s growth in products and geographical markets has created a need for enhanced structuring and documentation of ongoing HSE/QA work.
“Åsmund has experience and competence within both the professional field and the industry. We look forward to having him on the team,” Lien said.
Aasebø expressed enthusiasm about joining Fluctus, a company he has followed since its inception.
“Becoming part of the Fluctus team is very exciting. I have gradually gained many years of experience with quality work and system building, and look forward to contributing my knowledge to the organization,” he said.
