Former chief executive of Borr Drilling leads new land-based fish farming company

15,000 tonnes of land-based fish on the horizon from former boss of international drilling contractor.

The company Norwegian Seafarming was founded last summer. Now they want to focus on land-based farming.

The former chief executive of Borr Drilling Svend Anton Maier is listed as the company’s chairman.

According to documents SalmonBusiness has been given access to, they want to establish a RAS site to produce 15,000 tonnes of salmon in Ramsvika, Rogaland, Western Norway.

SB has tried to obtain comment from Maier but has not yet succeeded.
