Former Skretting, Fishvet Group, joins Nordic Aquafarms as VP of Operational Quality Control

Nick King joins land-based salmon farmer.

In a press release, Nordic Aquafarms wrote that it is strengthening its management team with the hire of Nick King as VP of Operational Quality Control in the US.

King was previously operations director for Fishvet Group from Portland, Maine, which used to part of Benchmark Animal Health (before it was sold to Pharmaq).

Prior to this, King spent over a decade with feed producer Skretting as global technical director. He also has ten years under his belt in hatchery operations.

“The hire of Nick further strengthens Nordic Aquafarm´s commitment to high animal health standards, biosecurity, and quality throughout our activities in the US,” wrote Nordic Aquafarms.

Nordic Aquafarms is waiting on permits permissions so it can start construction on a 33,000-tonne-a-year RAS farm in Belfast, Maine, USA.
