Neil Manchester joined the company in 2011.

In a press release, Hendrix Genetics writes that Neil Manchester has decided to step down as managing director for aquaculture, effective from July 31st.

Manchester joined Hendrix Genetics in 2011 with the acquisition of Landcatch, a company that he helped build since 1998.

He led the aquaculture division for the past seven years. In that time his successes included the acquisition of two large breeding companies, Troutlodge and Kona Bay, and also the establishment of new businesses in Chile, Ecuador, and Indonesia.

“Neil has been an invaluable part of our success in the aquaculture industry and for Hendrix Genetics as a whole. We’d like to thank Neil for his contribution over the last ten years and we wish him and his family much success,” said chief operating officer Raf Beeren.

The company has already begun the process of seeking a successor for this role.
