It will be the largest hydrolicer system in operation in Scotland.
The salmon farm has ordered kit of the Norwegian company, Hydrolicer, which operates and manufactures non-drug treatment and equipment.
“Hydrolicer production has worked a lot with further development and has focused particularly on fish pump technology, power and filtration. It is very pleasing for us that Marine Harvest Scotland will continue with us with new technology, and once again choose Hydrolicer, says CEO Øyvind Nymark.
The delivery consists of four lines Hydrolicer version 6, the new PG Hydroflow fishing pump (developed for large fish, in cooperation with PG Flow Solution), and the proprietary drum filtered hydrofilter.
The system has a capacity of 140-160 tons per hour.
