Ice Fish Farm shifts from red to black

Icelandic salmon farmer Ice Fish Farm had an operating profit before adjusting biomass value of EUR 0.8 million. Operating profit for the corresponding period in 2019 was minus EUR 1.5 million.

Ice Fish Farm reported an operating income of EUR 4.7 million in the quarter, up from EUR 0.7 million in the third quarter of last year, after harvesting 800 tonnes of salmon.

Ice Fish Farm farms fish in two fjords, Berufjörður and Fáskrúðsfjörður on the Icelandic east coast, with licenses for a total of 20,800 tonnes of salmon, of which 8,800 tonnes are for sterile salmon.

The company’s pre-tax profit was EUR 0.4 million, according to the company’s quarterly report.
