Kim Weidemann joins Intech International as new boss.

In a press release, the Danish company Intech, which manufactures stainless process equipment for the handling, processing and packaging of seafood (including salmon and trout), writes that it has appointed a new CEO.

Kim Weidemann comes from the German automotive industry supplier Klokkerholm Karosseridele, where he was CEO since 2012.

At Intech, owners Leif Carøe Andersen and Carsten Trudslev, have had the daily responsibility, and will both continue as director of the Seafood department and the Food department.

“It has been a long process. We have been looking for the right person for some time – one with great professional experience in management and business development and one with documented results. We have now found that. Kim is experienced in Danish and international business life, and we are sure that he is the right person for the position and to bring Intech to the next level,” said Carsten Trudslev.

“The employment of a new CEO also allows Intech’s two owners to focus on their respective core areas,” the company wrote.

“It creates the opportunity for both Carsten and I to focus 100% on the areas where we have our core competencies, namely within Food and Seafood projects,” added Leif Carøe Andersen.
