Marie Lassesen is taking over as managing director at Villa Seafood, which is a part of the Villa Seafood Group.
Lassesen was educated at Nord University in Bodø, Norway, and has previously been employed at Nordlaks, Norway Seafood and SalMar. She has during the last year been sales director at Villa Seafood, but as of January 1, 2018 she will be promoted to managing director.
Villa Seafood is located in Aalesund, Norway, has eight employees and will in 2017 have a sales turnover of more than € 50m.
An important part of the appointment will be to co-ordinate sales and production between Villa Seafood and Arctic Filet, the salmon filleting plant Villa Seafood owns together with the salmon farmer Wilsgård Fiskeoppdrett.
The Villa Seafood Group also has sales offices in Scotland and the USA. Lassesen will also be a part of the corporate management in Villa Seafood Group.
