Sigurðsson will still be part of the management team of the Icelandic salmon farmer.

Grétar Elías Finnsson, CFO in Laxar, is temporarily taking over as CEO. Finnsson has worked in Laxar for one year.
According to Norwegian salmon farmers Måsøval Fiskeoppdrett, the main owner of Laxar, the board will now look for a permanent replacement.
