Aina Valland has been hired as Leroy Seafood Group’s Communications Manager, with responsibility for external communications and community and government contacts within the company.
Valland joins the company having previously served as the Director of Public Relations at Seafood Norway. Before that she spent the last 21 years in numerous roles across the industry, as well as in environmental consultancy and certification. She will start her new role on 15th October.
“We are pleased to inform you that Aina Valland has been hired as Head of Public Affairs at Lerøy Seafood Group. She will lead the work to build up a new department for external communication, community and government contact,” the company’s CEO Henning Beltestad stated in a press release.
“I am looking forward to taking on this exciting task and working together with many talented people in Lerøy. I am passionate about the seafood industry and Lerøy is a significant player. I haven’t had a dull day at Seafood Norway and the new role means that I will still collaborate a lot with the organisation,” Valland added.
