Former Operations Director now at helm.

In a press release, Loch Duart writes that Mark Warrington has taken on the role of Managing Director of the salmon farm.

Warrington, who has been responsible for production with Sutherland and the Uists, Scotland-based, Loch Duart since 2015, takes over from Interim-MD Simon Maguire, who is returning to his position as Finance Director.

The veteran has over three decades of experience extensively across the salmon industry including various sales, processing and farming roles.

“I am proud to be Managing Director of Loch Duart. Having spent the last six years immersed in the communities of Sutherland and the Uists, I believe I bring a real understanding of the people and the farming techniques which have made this company great.

“During this difficult time we’re focused on caring for our people, our salmon, our customers and our communities. We intend to come through this challenge a better, stronger company,” said Warrington.

Former MD Alban Denton retired at the end of last year.
