Janne T. Mostøl has agreed with the board of directors of the company to step down.

Morstøl has been CEO of the seafood and logistic software solutions company since February 2017. The board had then adopted a new strategy for the company, with the main focus being growth through the expansion of the value chain and internationalisation.

“Janne T. Morstøl has led the implementation of this strategy, and today the company has a strong position as a supplier of innovative software systems tailored to the seafood and logistics industry,” the company wrote on its website.

Maritech currently has offices in Norway, USA, Canada, Iceland and Chile. During his time as CEO, Morstøl has established a strong management team and strengthened the organisation in new technology and digital business processes.

“As CEO, Janne T. Morstøl has commuted to Molde (Norway) for over three years and has put in significant work and travel, including internationally. The board would like to thank Janne for the efforts and results she has created at Maritech over the last three years, and wish her the best of luck with new challenges,” wrote Maritech.

The Board of Directors has appointed Odd-Arne Kristengård as the new CEO. Kristengård has worked nine years in the company, for the last six years as COO.
