Morpol to reopen salmon facility in France

The production site needs manpower but…

From October, 9 years after its opening, the Morpol France will finally launch salmon production at its Cuisery site, eastern France although it is only temporary, according to the French publication lejsl.

Production will start in October and until the end of the year at the Morpol plant. For 4 to 5 months only, the slicing and packaging facility site will employ 60 and 80 people.

This is to continue production following the fire that destroyed the Marine Harvest Landivisiau plant in Brittany in July.

In 2012 Marine Harvest acquired 48.5% of Morpol.
